"Blake? Blake?! How are you feeling? Do you want water? Sorry I'll get out of your bed I promise I wasn't doing anything it was just easier what with changing your bandages and-" Blake interrupted her rambling by kissing her. His mouth was soft and warm but strong and demanding against hers. One of his hands came up to wind in her hair and she found her own coming to rest on his chest. Just as she started to become breathless he pulled back.
"Hi,"his voice was gruff from lack of use but there was a soft smile on his face. Maya felt her face heat up, suddenly feeling shy.
"Hi," she smiled back ducking her head to hide her rosy cheeks. Blake reached over one of his strong hands and lifted her face with a finger under her chin. "Don't hide. I want to see you. For a second I never thought I'd see you again."
