Tsugikuni Shouta is the descendant of the last Tsugikuni family. The Tsugikuni Shouta usually hides his identity so that people don't know that he is a descendant of the Tsugikuni. Shouta always changed his last name to "Suzuki". Shouta was raised by his father while his mother died on a mission to go to Douma's residence. Only his father and uncle Kamado Tanjuro know his real name. And his father once told him that the Tsugikuni family is now divided into three, namely the kamado, tokito and Tsugikuni.
