He smiled, but his eyes were scanning my surroundings, likely hoping to find her. "Are you by yourself? Where is Tina?" I knew it. "She's with others. Actually, I want to-" "Others? Alright, let's join them." Having gathered his belongings, he was ready to depart. My heart was pounding hard. I let the lump in my throat settle and opened my mouth to finish my broken sentences. "Jim, I wanted to tell you something-." "Adi, can I ask you a question?" "Sure. What is it?" "Does Tina have a partner? Is she seeing anyone? " " T-Tina?" "I believe that I have a liking for her.
