Matthew Chandlers is the captain of his school's hockey team, whose dad just happened to be the coach of. Matthew's neighbor and ex-best friend from childhood who has a 4.0 grade average in every subject. Henry and Matt are awkward at first because of something that happens in the past that pulled them apart. But with every lesson together the two seem to form the bond they once lost.
