But when he's about to be mugged in New York after his performance, he discovers that the creatures he previously thought to be 'fantasy' weren't really all too imaginary as he gets caught up with an emo with wings, Virgil Black.

Everyone here has their own pair of wings they are born with. It can be the same color, or it could be different colors. Roman has beautiful red wings, though he can't fly. He was born with both, but his left wing was torn off when he was seven. Now he must go through challenges to be able to do the best he can with life.
