Minji and Hanni are known by everyone for their rivalry in school but nobody knew about their enduring love. Separated by circumstances, distance and brought together again by life, would their steadfast love bloom again? Hanni came from a mountainous region of Hongcheon where her success in life was proven by her capability to leave her village. But Hanni loved her village and so she would stick around and would do everything in her capacity to stop it from going extinct. Minji on the other hand, an illegitimate child of a Korean multi billionaire businessman, she was ever ready to leave Korea and the business world any chance she gets. But later, she'll join the Korean bureaucracy and come back again with the sole purpose of coming home to where her heart is. *Flashbacks are written in italics.* #An: Turns out I'm not really good at writing the story description! Please give it a read, you might like it! At least try reading the first 2-3 chapters🤗

Hanni Pham is not nearly as enthusiastic as her friends to start the new semester. Maybe, it's because she's a transfer, new school already tainted by the bad experiences of the last one. Maybe it's because her mom hasn't called, or because her ex won't stop calling. No matter what it is, it's all made worse when she finds out that her room is directly across from the RA. An RA who she can't stop thinking about. (All credits go to the original author) Highest rankings: #8 daerin

Haerin was her best friend. Her sister. "I'll let you choose where to eat as long as you don't bring up your hot Korean neighbour again." Oh, how she hated her. "I haven't even mentioned her that much!" "Her eyes were so intense, Haerin." Haerin began in a mocking tone. "The leather jacket she wore was so fitting Haerin. Her neck was so-" "Oh my god stop!" What is bread? The most basic and essential food, right? How about a slice of bread? Is it enough? Where Kim Minji lives peacefully in a college apartment until a small intruder enters her life and their destinies become intertwined as dark secrets from a buried past begin to surface. --x-- A/N: Slow updates. Hi! I apologize in advance as English is not my first language, but I really wanted to try this. This was my first bbangsaz long fic and it's already finished, so I'm just in the process of translating it into english. I would be grateful if you would give it a chance! The name is a play on words with "bread loaf" and "slice of life" (anime genre), because I wanted to make a slow-burning romance. Also, remember that Hanni once said that Minji was "the other half of her loaf" ♥. I would be grateful if you would write a comment! I just found out that translating is harder than I thought, haha, but it will be worth it! I hope you enjoy the ride as much as I enjoyed writing it ♥. All Rights Reserved ©

It's been almost three years since Minji left. Almost three years since everything changed. Now in New York, Minji has found herself again on basketball court, becoming not only a stronger player but also a steadier, kinder version of the person she once struggled to be. Maybe NYU was a right choice. Meanwhile in Seoul, Hanni pours her heart into her music degree, following her dreams alongside the friends who stayed by her side when everything seemed to fall apart. They live in different worlds now, building new routines, finding new people to laugh with, and carving futures they once only imagined. Yet, no matter the distance, no matter the silence, they carry each other quietly. Because even through pain, heartbreak, and time, some bonds never unravel completely. They always knew they would care for one another. The question is-can they ever forget what it felt like to be each other's everything? BOOK 2 OF "DOES LOVE FEEL LIKE THIS" Hope you like it:)

Minji and Hanni have always been close - the kind of best friends who finish each other's sentences, tease without mercy, and somehow make everything more fun just by being in the same room. Their friends and families are used to it. Maybe even a little too used to it. But high school has a funny way of making familiar things feel different. Between small glances, shared laughter, and moments that linger longer than they should, something begins to shift. Not that they notice. To them, it's just friendship, like always... Or maybe it's not.
