Nico di Angelo is depressed stressed lemony zest. Its been a month since the second war, and Nico is still recovering from trauma. So Chiron came up with a wonderful idea, Nico di Angelo, goes on a break for two months. Off to the safest mortal city for demigods, Gotham. He's absolutley screwed, with in the first week he got hit by a car. Specifically the bat mobile. Ever since that incident the Batfam has been keeping tabs on Nico. Will they ever find out Nico is a demigod? Probably. Will Nico get adopted? Probably im the damn author. Any way this is my first fic and i really love DC and PJO so let me spread some inspired joy. Nico di Angelo is being overwhelmed. His children/Cocoapuffs/Cacodemons have been overcrowding him and making him re-live his worst moments over and over, the other campers, even the Seven have been avoiding him as his mood worsens, and everyone has forgotten how many times he helped save the world, for example, getting the Athena Parentheos across the world, bring Hades to help against the Titans, and countless times more. Even Will has been spending less time with him as more demigods arrive, and ever since the infamous 'Shadow Travel Incident' even Chiron seems uncomfortable around him. And all of that draws the Cocoapuffs closer. He needs a break. So, Nico decides to go to the Underworld to ask Hades about what he should do. Hades tells him to head to Mount Olympus to receive some 'blessings from the gods' as Hades worded it. So Nico goes over there ya da, ya da, ya da, gets blessed, etc... BUT.... There is a TWIST. I mean, how would it be a good blessing WITHOUT a twist?! His physical body is now seven -years-old AND THAT HELPS A LOT, ZEUS. So yea. Then they send him off to Gotham City and Zeus is like 'JUST TRY TO SURVIVE, OK!?" At the end of the battle with Gaea, right after Octavian shoots himself at the Earth Mother, Nico realizes his mistake. He realizes that he just allowed Leo to be shot down. He realized he was about to get one of the seven killed. In a desperate attempt to save him and possibly not be hated, he manages to knock Leo off of his flight path and into the ocean. But at the last moment before he crashes as well he's pulled into the shadows. After that all he can remember is pain, he wakes up in a hospital in Gotham city with people crowding him, a billionaire trying to play hero and take care of him, and people constantly asking him questions. Questions that should be easy to answer, right? After a wild party on the last day of Junior year, Will Solace may have...accidentally...got way caught up in the alcohol.
