This book is a sequel to His Favorite Distraction. You can read this as a stand-alone but I do suggest you read His Favorite Distraction first! ●○●○●○●○● Enzo Marconi is Dominic Moretti's right-hand man-lethal, serious, and as intimidating as they come. Lucy Winters is a whirlwind of laughter, endless charm, and dangerously persistent flirtation. When Lucy sets her sights on Enzo, the stoic enforcer finds his carefully controlled world turned upside down by a woman who refuses to back down. She challenges his silence with her sunshine and warmth, and he meets her fire with his gruff protectiveness. But when enemies threaten the fragile peace between them, they must decide if their reckless hearts can survive a world that demands they stay apart. ●○●○●○●○● Dominic stared. "You're freaking out." "No," I said. "I'm thinking." "About?" "About where to get the safest crib on the market. And bulletproof nursery windows. And how fast I can replace the locks on Lucy's apartment. Again." Dominic blinked. Then grinned. "Oh, you're really in it now." "I'd die for her," I said, very simply. "But I'd kill for that baby." Dominic whistled low. "Jesus. You're already nesting." "I am not." "You absolutely are. You're one Pinterest board away from painting a nursery." "I don't know what Pinterest is." "Liar." ●○●○●○●○● Word Count: 22,843

He usually prefers his employees to be less...bubbly. Energetic. A little more like him, essentially. But there was something about her the moment she introduced herself. Maybe it was the way she looked at him, or the way she smiled at everyone in her line of sight, who knows. But, whatever the reason is, he hates it. He hates that he gave into that feeling when he met her. She manages to find her way into his mind 24/7, unlike any woman ever has. She doesn't think she's ever seen someone as angry at the world as him. He can be rude and he doesn't always think about other's feelings before he speaks. A scowl somehow is always set on his face, like he was born that way. For any other person, a man like that would make you want to simply ignore him. But not her. She has her heart set on making him smile. Even just a little. Maybe even a laugh. And she is not giving up any time soon. It's not hard to tell that two people with personalities like theirs can lead to a dangerous combination.

"Please," I whisper, my voice trembling as tears prick the corners of my eyes. "Please don't hurt me." The words barely escape my throat, fragile and desperate. He studies me for a moment, tilting his head slightly, almost as if he's amused by my plea. Then he scoffs, the sound sharp and mocking. "Why would I want to do that?" he murmurs, his voice smooth but carrying a dark undertone that chills me. He takes a step forward, and instinctively, I step back. "I've just found you..." He pauses, his gaze dragging over my face like a predator sizing up its prey. "And now you're mine." Aurora Evans leads a life of simplicity. Eat, work, sleep-her unchanging regimen is her sanctuary, and she has no intention of altering it. But what unfolds when a shadowy figure, lurking beyond her windows, takes an insidious interest in her? One glance at her in a café ensnares him, rendering him captivated, his singular ambition becoming clear: to claim her as his own. Aurora's attempts to escape his shadowy games are futile, especially in the cloak of night when he emerges, weaving his spell under the cover of darkness. He teases, entices, and pushes her perilously close to her breaking point. Her resolve is to distance herself as much as possible. Yet, fate has a cruel sense of irony. When she is abruptly dismissed from her previous job, she unwittingly lands a position working for him-as his assistant-entangling her in a web she can no longer evade. *A STALKER ROMANCE* #1 in "assistant" 12/23/24 #1 in "criminal" 3/8/25

Adonis Celts, the notorious monster who'd been rotting in prison for the past decade. Getting an interview with him just weeks before his release would be the story of a lifetime, and well worth the risk. With his hands cuffed and guards right outside the door, nothing could go wrong. Right? • • • "I've already explained I'm not afraid of you Mr. Celts. But it seems like you want me to be?" I retort. He leans forward in the chair, his face just a foot or two away from mine. The light flickers above us and it seems like a sign for me to shut the hell up. "Mmhm right. Well, maybe you have more nerve than sense then hm? Or you just don't scare as easily as the others." His jaw ticks slightly "But I can think of far better ways to get your heart racing. So no honey, fear is the last thing I want from a woman like you."

Dahlia, who was mistakenly arrested, somehow found herself in the same prison cell with the most dangerous prisoner in the empire. Killian, who was the strongest knight of the fallen enemy kingdom, was kept as a prisoner after his homeland's defeat in the war. He was known as the crazy madman who ruthlessly slaughtered hundreds of men in the battlefield. He was all the things one would be terrified of when heard. The story used to scare children to sleep. A killer A lunatic A madman who laughed while slaughtering his enemies A man who only lusted for blood. Those were the names attached to him. Valuing her dear life, Dahlia decided to earn his interest by pretending to like him. After all, he was known to spare interesting things, especially women, according to the rumors she heard, that is. However, her act of pretending to like him was no use at all. The more she fawned over him, the more he threatened her. Eventually, the time came when she was finally free to go but couldn't bid him a proper farewell. And years later... "Why did you suddenly disappear that day?" Never did she expect she would encounter him again. "Do you know that I've almost gone mad searching for you?" He said with his deep calloused voice. And though her body was frozen in his arms, she gulped as he leaned into her ears. "You told me before that you'd marry me once we got out of that prison." A breath hitched in her throat. "Aren't you going to keep your words, my beloved?" He said. It seemed like he had no intention of letting her go.
