After two wars on complete different sides of the world and between two complete different types of people, our heroes are in ruins. Percy knows that war is just a part of his life that he will have to deal with. Monsters, Gods, Giants, whatever. Being a demigod, he has to face loss time after time and the deaths will never stop. But it doesn't mean he is used to it. Now, him and his girlfriend, Annabeth Chase are given a task to teach the Wizards from Hogwarts how to further prepare themselves for war and loss. But how are they going to cope when memories and losses fill them with sorrow and their nightmares start to come back? Harry Potter is beaten. He is barren and tired and filled with the intensity of the fallen. After defeating Voldemort, he doesn't know how to cope with the deaths. Joining his friends for a final year at Hogwarts, he is hoping for a normal year. But when two mysterious professors appear, Harry knows that normal is overrated.

Everything's different now, after the Giant War. So even after arriving home Percy can't tell anyone the truth; not his mom, not his new, rather odd, neighbor, not the friends that he's afraid to be close to. But the truth always hurts and somehow, the truth always shows. Maybe it's a good thing that his new neighbor, Peter Parker, is just a little too observant. Or maybe it isn't. Meanwhile the world is changing. New threats have risen and been defeated. But people are disappearing, people are dying. And even the people who are supposed to be heroes can't stop this. But that's sort of the point. Now though the darkness which Peter has always managed to keep at an arm's length is right outside his front door. Right inside it. Peter can't lose anyone else. Percy can't lose anyone else. Both are sure that if they do they're bound to lose themselves. Now though loss isn't and if but a when. Not a when but how much. Neither of them plan on getting out of this one. Both are sure that there must be someone at fault. But innocence and guilt mean nothing in this blame game, because with all this hurt, with all this death, with all this pain, isn't everyone somehow to blame? And maybe they aren't so different, Peter and Percy. Maybe they can find a way to work together, fight together, stop this together. Maybe together they can find a way to get out of this one, find a way to save even those who don't want to be saved. Or maybe they can't.
