In the forest Snow Cream discovers a cottage inhabited by seven eccentric Chao, who warmly welcomes her into their home after she offers to cook and clean for them. Her magical long purple hair with blonde highlights has the power to provide eternal youth, and the evil Vandersnout uses this power to keep her young. At the age of 18, Mina becomes curious about the outside world, and when a prince uses her tower as a refuge, she asks him to help her escape.
