The poetry comes from different time periods in my life and is not necessarily in chronological order. It is a mix of serious and humorous. It contains poems that express sadness, anger, apathy, and a range of emotions. (I'm still considering alternate titles and cover pictures so suggestions are welcome.)

A small but ever-growing collection of original poetry from the mind of a 19 year old pothead. This is home to a large range of thoughts, feelings, and ideas that cloud my head in poetry form.

This is my own little poetry project, inspired by all the movies I watched when growing up. So here I'm taking a movie and writing a scene/ section of the story in poem format. Disney is the obvious choice, which is why I'll often refer to this as my Disney Project, but it will include names such as DreamWorks, Pixar, Warner Bros, etc. Feel free to suggest a movie to me, or a scene, if you don't see it inside! NEXT: POCAHONTAS COMING UP: Dreamworks Prince of Egypt COMING SOON: Beauty and the Beast *Characters, images, and all linked music/videos, are not mine and belong to their makers.*

Probably everything sad and sappy you can think of. A collection of my first attempts at serious poetry/free-verse, so this isn't the best stuff I have written. I may come back later to fix some stuff. *Sniff* When I read my own stuff it sounds so sad even to me. I'm a sucker for sad things. That's all I write in poetry and short stories, and I usually end up crying/breaking down on the inside. (I seem okay on the outside.)

Heartbreak is a curious thing. It can make even the strongest of men whimper and sulk like sad puppies. It can cause rational, intelligent people to behave in incomprehensible ways. Yet when the end does come, it can feel like the end of the world. It can be that that person meant so much or we loved them with our heart and soul. Because in the end, all any person truly wants, is to love and be loved. So walk beside me; step into my shoes through this journey of heartbreak.
