In the original story, Chiaki Matsushita is a secretly capable girl who realizes near the end of the first-year arc that Ayanokoji is hiding his true abilities. What if she had noticed Ayanokoji's abilities much earlier, at the beginning of the first-year arc, and tried to persuade him to actually use them?

"I didn't mean to bother you," I said evenly, keeping my tone calm. "I was just... looking." Her lips pressed into a thin line, skepticism flashing in those striking red eyes. "Looking? Up close, her beauty struck me fully; delicate features framed by that dark hair, a graceful jawline, and those crimson eyes that seemed to burn with an inner fire.
