10 years have passed since Ash Ketchum became the World Monarch. There have been many challengers that have tried to take his title, but none have been successful. There doesn't seem to be any trainers who are strong enough to defeat him. Jaydin Silver, a 12 year old boy from the Johto Region, hasn't had the best life. Beaten, neglected and bitter, he believes he is useless to the world. The only thing he finds comfort in is watching his idol, World Monarch Ash Ketchum, and gives him hope that he can be as strong as him someday. Jaydin decides to leave his old life behind and begins his own journey to eventually become strong enough to face his idol and achieve his dream of becoming the next World Monarch. This is an original story that I've been brainstorming for a while. It will have dark elements in it but will still have many wholesome moments as well. Basically, a typical betrayal story...without a betrayal, so to speak. Basically, Ash's pals think it is time to try something new. His Kalos league run got everyone so excited, only for Ash to lose. They started to wonder if a Master is the right way for him to go. Disappointed that his friends lost their faith, Ash sets of to Alola, hoping to clear his mind. When a brand new League is announced to be opened, Ash takes a chance on this opportunity to finally become a Champion, putting him one step closer to Master. This is going to be separate from canon, with some similarities. This is not going to have Ash catching a bunch of Legendarys, or using the whole ''Aura" thing, It's just good old Ash, on a good old adventure. I will include Meloetta, since it's my personal favorite Mythical Pokemon, and Ash will catch Poipole / Naganadel. I dont think I will include Melmetal in Ash's team, for a reason you'll see further in. But Meloetta wont be caught, it's kind of just along for the ride. :) Team Rocket, our loveable trio of dorks, is still a loveable trio of dorks, they just, aren't part of Rocket anymore. They are now members of Team Cook. Yep, they're cooks now. And maybe also a guest appearance from a fan favorite Ninja Amphibian?
