After 2 major wars against two galactic superpowers, and the Garmillas refugee crisis of 2205, Japan, a part of the Earth Federation, now is seeing true peace. The rebuilding process is happening smoothly, with cooperation between citizens from all walks of life, between the Garmillian refugees and Terrans, and even the famous Shinkansen Maglev system is also rebuilt. However, one day, the people on the land of Japan woke up to a foreign sight. No known constellation, familiar stars, the moon, and neighboring landmass could be detected. Facing them is a planet of unknown, magic, and of possibility. Facing the crisis of transference, the people united once more, and again, the name Japan is re-recognized as a country. Her diplomatic corps is sent out on the rebuilt Japan Cosmo Navy ships, heading toward unknown lands, and contacting the nations of the new world. The politic of the new world however is a quagmire full of arrogance, hostility, and imperialism. "If diplomacy fails, then defend ourselves, we must" - proclaimed the newly appointed provisional PM of Japan, Heikuro Todo. The story of Nihonkoku Shoukan Beyond will follow Japan in the world of Space Battleship Yamato (2199/2202/2205) after their transference to the new world. This story is inspired by the original NHS and fanfics like Summoning America by DrDoritosMD. It will feature similar plots to the OG NHS by Minorou and the fanfics by other creators I have the pleasure to read. With this as my first English fanfic novel, please don't be too harsh. (Rewrite of Great American Space Race) Humanity is on the brink of war, again. Despite it's ascension amongst the stars, mankind remains divided amongst nations. The continue to fight over resources and claims over planets for establishing colonies on. Unity is far from becoming a reality. However something catches the attention of humanity, originating from deep space. The United States of America, along with other major powers of mankind, begin a new space race. Competing for something that may hold the key for mankind's future as a species. The unknown awaits them.

Magic and Technology Both two separate concepts with their own strengths and drawbacks. Instead of focusing on one, why not focus and devote studies into both at the same time. One of the most proficient nations, in both science and arcane arts, through both military and industrial breakthroughs is going well into the 10th millennium after having a history dating back 500 years ago. Through internal struggles, wars, economic collapses, this nation has pulled through and become one of the largest super powers across the three interlinked worlds. However an anomaly of unknown magic appears and opens a path into another world beyond the others. Many threats and opportunities present themselves through this new world, but through magic and science they will prevail.

Taking place years after the events of the Pantala Arc, a mysterious structure has suddenly appeared in the middle of Pyrrhia. No one knows what this structure is or where it came from but something, or rather someone, emerges from it. The structure was a portal crossing between dimensions, and from it came humans/scavengers/or giants depending on who you ask. They come claiming themselves as the United States of America, a nation among a hundred more from a world beyond what dragon kind has imagined. However these new arrivals are the least of worries as from the oceans arrives a new faction and race wielding powerful weapons and technology no dragon could hope to match. War returns to the continent of Pyrrhia, but this time it will involve bombs, gunpowder, and artillery.
