Satan has been driven back. The forces of Gehenna have been repelled (for the time being, at least). Class 1-A has returned to UA, and Rin has resumed his exorcist training at True Cross. Despite parting ways, things are going great. But, with the opening of the Gehenna Gate, demons are spilling through the cracks all over Assiah at an alarming rate. All whilst villains across Japan are rapidly starting to partner up with them. With heroes trying and failing to combat the growing threat, UA has only one choice - to summon some of True Cross's most-trusted exorcists in the hopes of severing the ties between villains and demons.
