District five is known to be the worst team in minnesota , however Amelia Russell is one decent player but that doesnt mean she doesnt enjoy messing around with her loser friends in district five which makes it look like Amelia is just as terrible as everyone else . When Connie's team gets a new coach and is looking to recruit new players, Connie immediately suggests Amelia. Amelia, however, knows little to nothing about hockey and doesn't want to waste her nor the team's time learning how to play.
