A story in which James, Lily, and Sirius come back to life while a seventeen-year-old Harry is out hunting for Horcruxes. With a war raging and their son and godson smack in the middle of it, the three must put all their resources and abilities together to reunite with and save Harry Potter, all while piecing together the very confusing and dangerous life he has led without them. However, with almost no one seeming to know (or, in some cases, be alive to know) about the return of Lily, James, and Sirius, they quickly find themselves on their own, with Potterwatch broadcasts and questionable Daily Prophet newspapers as their only guide. On top of that, Harry himself isn't making it any easier for them, as he's constantly moving around and popping up in unpredictable places. Without knowing it, Harry Potter had created the most extreme game of Wack-A-Mole ever. ---- This story all began with this one idea I'd had while reading fanfics. But he would never change it for all the fame in the world. Little Prongslet was growing up to be just the little marauder himself with the help of Uncle Padfoot, Uncle Moony and Dad.

BOOK 1 OF THE SERIES, 'A FAMILY'S RETURN'. Young Harry falls through the Mirror after his attack on Quirrell. When he draws blood, his parents are released because of the mirror. Harry, James and Lily bond; Sirius is freed; Pettigrew gets caught; Remus gets reacquainted with his friends. Only Horcruxes are Harry's scar, that is destroyed after Harry encounters Voldemort in his first year; Hufflepuff's cup; Marvolo Gaunt's ring; Ravenclaw's diadem; Slytherin's locket and Voldemort's diary.

What happens when James Potter, father of Harry Potter, has miraculously returned from the dead? When James Potter turns up in the wrecked house that he was killed in fifteen years ago, apparently alive and devastated at Lily's and "Harry's" deaths he winds up being found by none other that Albus Dumbledore, who is baffled at the sudden appearance of a dead man. Harry is in his fifth year at Hogwarts. Harry, is now dealing with the traumas of his past, a new DADA(defense against the dark arts) teacher and on top of it all, being publicly accused of lying about Voldemort. How will he now deal with his father's return on top of it all? Will he be distant and cold not wanting to believe that it's actually him or will he be warm and happy after finding out.
