After the torture he was subjected to in the Readjustment Classes, John wasn't sure how he could bear to live with himself anymore, not after everything he did as the Tyrant of New Bostin. So in this story, Izu is quirkless and he did not go to UA because after All Might had crushed his dream he gives up on being a hero. He did meet a few villains and hear about their side of the story and realise that this world is not all black and white so he decides to be grey and help both sides How will he do that you may ask?
