The Figure Skating event for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics may be over, but there is still the closing ceremony and then a month gap before World Championships. It has been an amazing journey, getting to know 𝐭𝐡𝐞 Yuzuru Hanyu and other skaters, going back to competitive skating and even getting 4th overall at your very first Olympics!! Everything seems to be going well, which is what one may think. But, this is real-life, it's not a fairy tale. Sure there may be happy endings, but at what cost? Especially when you're caught in a situation beyond what you first expect. Are you really as innocent as people think you are?

A collection of a single Yuzu one shot that may or may not expand at some point... Basically the culmination of the shit show that was Beijing 2022 and the years of injustice being inflicted upon Yuzuru by the ISU, from his POV plus a lot of lovey dovey fluff. This is my first Yuzuru Hanyu ff and I'm quite excited about this one. I became a fan of him earlier this year and I was in awe with his skating, he's a king. Lilis meets Yuzuru Hanyu at The Worlds 2019. She doesn't know anything about figure skating, but she's confused as to why he didn't win, so she asks him, or he asks her. And together, they end up in Greece. "I never loved anyone." He suddenly confessed, his eyes searching her face like children searching the beach sand for seashells.

After his injury, Yuzuru can't skate, and is left with a lot of free time in Canada. For the first time he isn't worried about his injury, and befriends a girl from the neighborhood. This is a story about two people getting to know each other, learning, and overcoming hardships together. * Character development through conversation.
