An anonymous gamer, a faceless Twitch streamer, and YouTube creator, Nora Byrne goes by noidentityceptmine on the Internet. She never believed she'd get ten subscribers, but within the last two years she has reached a milestone: one million. None of her fans know who she is. She is known for her hoodies, background lights, second alto voice, and hatred for scary video games, which her audience wants to hear her react to. But ideas have disappeared. The intense pressure to give, to give, to make, to make, and upload her videos every day (sometimes two videos per day) has exceeded her limit. After a burnout and struggling with her grief, she takes a break. She knows this is her paycheck. She understands there could be a backlash. She finds a new video gamer, one who yells, high pitch voice, and his Irish accent . . . she starts to watch his videos: Séamus Reid. New perspective. Games that she hasn't played before. Will she return to making videos? Should she reach out? Maybe a new friendship? ________________ 🌟 Open Novella Contest 2021 ➤ Prompt #29: ❝I am in the mood to dissolve in the sky.❞ - Virginia Woolf ➤ Round One, Two, Longlist, and Shortlist Qualifier ✨ ➤ Honorable Mention | All The Feels 💕 💫 Round One First Place Winner 2021 ◇ @WattpadSocialMedia | DM Me | Teen and NA reading list ◇ May 21, 2021 ◇ @OpenNovellaContest | 2021 Round Winners ◇ March 25, 2021 ◇ @OpenNovellaContest | Longlist Part 2 ◇ May 27, 2021 ◇ @OpenNovellaContest | 2021 Honorable Mentions | All the Feels ◇ June 30, 2021 ◇ @WattpadShortStory | Strugglers ◇ June 30, 2021 ◇ @generalfiction | Freestyle Fiction | Miscellaneous ◇ September 8, 2021 ◇ @ProfileMentalHealth | A New Day ◇ September 30, 2021 ◇ Contemporary Romantics Award: #RomanticsAwards2022: Shortlist ◇ March 15, 2022 ◇ Contemporary Romantics Award: #RomanticsAwards2022: Finale In 2026, I'll publish the 2021 edition.

I felt a sneaking suspicion crawl up my spine. "The exam was way too easy." About 100 years ago, a strange meteor crashed into the Earth's surface, and a baby boy with special abilities was born shortly after. Since then, only fifteen percent of the children born after the meteor's landing had unique special abilities. Many of those in the newer generations trained to use their gifts to help humanity. But where there is light, there will always be darkness. Kenzo Langston enrolls into Dysnomia Academy, a school known in the underground world for its ruthless entrance exam and rigorous courses. With a variety of personal reasons, each student strives to be a villain that can stand up against the high and mighty heroes. What does Dysnomia Academy have in store for its students? Why did Kenzo enroll into a villain academy instead of using his powers to become a hero? How far will he go to achieve his goals? TW: violence, death (it is a villain academy after all) Cover by @writers_cubby Open Novella Contest 2021 entry Round 2 Qualifier
