Gabriel is an angel who serves God with the other angels in heaven with his friend Joshua until Gabriel runs away after being kicked off the messengers as punishment for teaching a religion he made. While stranded on Earth he meets Anabelle "Annie" Smith, a high school goth girl who he befriends. But soon the relationship becomes one beyond single friends.

Change was an uncommon occurrence in South Park. After a TV program by the same name had swept through the quiet mountain town, no one had strayed from their characters on the show, however the goth kids had. Once you arrive in the town, you are swept into the dark group, only to find that they are some of the only people in this town that are truly themselves.
