It's hard to forget the way his golden-brown eyes bore into her as the ball curved into his mitt. It's hard to forget the injury dealt to her, even if it was an accident. It's hard to forget how she shocked Seidou during her first game. It's hard to forget the bullying from so long ago. And most of all, it's hard for Akio to forget Miyuki Kazuya. For Miyuki, it's hard to forget the first time he met Akio and the alluring desire to form a battery with her. Miyuki Kazuya, a catcher whose talents were catching the eyes of many, and Akio Takigawa, a girl who always feels the need to prove herself, attend Seidou, a school reknowned for it's baseball team. Having formed a battery during their first year, Miyuki and Akio were rising as a battery until Akio gets injured during a match. After months of not hearing the ball collide with the catcher's mitt, Akio is ready to stand on the mound once more. However, with the arrival of Sawamura Eijun and Furuya Satoru, she will have to prove she is once again useful. Will she be able to gather the courage to go the distance (and maybe confess to her crush along the way)? I only own my OC and nothing more. Ace of Diamond belongs to Yuji Terajima.

It was 2 outs and the score was 16-15, in our favor. As the pitch was thrown, you could hear the baseball hit the sweet spot on the bat. Everyone thought it was a goner but, there was a certain outfielder/center-fielder playing, Alex. She ran her fastest and got to the fence. She locked her foot into the fence and pushed with all her might. The results were unbelievable for the other team. She has caught it! As she walked back to line up, no one was cheer for her at all but there was a certain person that came all the way from Tokyo to America to see this girl. It was Rei Takashima. A few weeks later Alex had gotten a letter that changed her life for good.
