Even more so, a weakness. At this point in their lives, they're just trying to make their bones in the world. Being an early twenty-something is its own struggle. Stiles is in college, pursuing photography and living in the finest apartment building on campus; his dad wouldn't have it any other way. Lydia is working as a bank teller, still living with her ever-unhappy parents and constantly putting up with the charade of trying to be everyone's perfect little helper. And everything's fine two minutes in, but three minutes and Lydia automatically knows that good terms is out of the option. Sure he was sarcastic and a dick and she could live with that (having a few snarky comebacks herself). Until he has sex with his girlfriend. When she's literally a room away. Wait. Did I say girlfriend? "Sweetheart, I don't think you understand. I don't date. And you'll learn that in a couple minutes when the next girl shows up."

"What's that noise?" Allison asks as the loud beeping noise echoes through my bedroom. She rushes over to the window with Kira coming fast behind her. I didn't bother getting up, mainly because I was comfortable. "It's a moving truck, wait someone's coming out!" Kira exclaims and Allison jumps up and down. I laughed at their excitement and turned to the next page. "Oh, he's our age. Brown hair and red jacket." Kira describes as I continue reading. "Ooh, cute boy moving in next door..!" Allison says with a playful smirk on her face. "You have a boyfriend, Allison." Kira giggles and Allison turns around, smirking at me as she does so.
