Spoiler alert for this entire book! If you have not completed the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, this story will reveal the entire storyline of this game. Two people, who will grow to rely on each other, torn apart by the final ruination. The blood moon rises... The shadow of the Calamity rises over the kingdom of Hyrule, rearing its terrible head, tearing apart all that stands in its way. The deadline was hanging over the head of the citizens who depend on the success of a powerless girl and the mettle of a simply talented boy. There will be quite a lot of angst so if you're not okay with that, then please don't read my book. There will be rather graphic descriptions of war and battles, and self-harm and depression will trigger some of you, but there are no sexual scenes, nor swearing. Before the rise of Calamity Ganon, Princess Zelda of Hyrule was appointed to travel across the lands. She was to learn about the technologies of the ancient civilizations before her kingdom rose and speak to the leaders of each nation. And along the way, she must bring her trusty friend and guard, Link. But as they travel, with nobody else around to talk to, they grow to find an affection for each other that's deeper than a friendship. But how, in a world governed by politics and potential war, could they find a way to stay together?

Soon, seventeen-year old Zelda will be forced to marry if she cannot make her decision on her own. She must follow the Royal Law, one which her father strictly enforces. She must chose one suitor to take over the kingdom and rule alongside her. 1. The suitor must come from a royal bloodline. 2. The suitor must be an ally of Hyrule. 3. If the royal does not choose his/her suitor in a time span decided by the King or Queen, they must be forced to marry the King or Queen's ideal suitor. Time quickly running out, Zelda realizes she does not want to marry someone that only cares about inheriting the throne. She wishes to marry for happiness. And if she cannot prove herself and her happiness to her father soon enough, she will be forever forced into a life she does not want to live. This is the sequel to "How to be a Prince" by Zelink2408. Link and Zelda are happily married, but a shadow falls over their kingdom. A great evil of a far kingdom threatens the peace of Hyrule, and only Link, Zelda, Jorulph and Naphi can defeat them. The great evil seems to be charming, but sly as a fox. Can the kings and queens defeat this evil, or will their kingdoms fall?

Before the Great Calamity, Zelda and Link travel amongst Hyrule together. They must learn to tolerate each other on their journey. Zelda, having barely been able to leave the castle much before him, discovered her sense of adventure when she went out with Link. Is it possible that the two of them harbored a secret admiration for each other than ran deeper than friendship? Or would Link maintain his silence and not speak to the princess at all? This story flashes back from before and after the Great Calamity. What happens after Link defeats Calamity Ganon? This story is very long, but if I do say so myself, I think it's worth it!
