After years and years of trying, Zim had finally taken over the Earth. He had finally gotten the praise from his Tallest that he had always wanted, and he even obtained the power to control an armada of his own! It seemed like he had finally gotten everything that he had ever wanted. Yet... there was still an empty feeling in his soul. An empty feeling of dread. Someone was missing, he just didn't know who. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This story was created for my 13th birthday, so it won't be as long as Ambivalent. After 6 years, Zim starts to realize that his plan to take over Earth isn't working. When he contacts the Tallest, his suspicions are proven to be correct. They tell him everything they've kept as secrets and banish him to Earth, leaving him to die. However, life has different plans for him.

Book Cover by User Moxuu_ After realizing that they're bored without bashing each other's antics, Dib and Zim befriend each other. Soon after, Zim finds himself on an autopsy table, and believes Dib to be the culprit. Thinking quickly, he travels back in time to when he befriends Dib, intending to stop the event from taking place. But in the process, he finds out that Dib wasn't planning anything of the sorts. Now without a disguise, Zim must team up with his greatest enemy (and at the same time his only friend) to find who else in this world of idiots would know Zim's true identity. Side note, this book does contain ZaDR (Zim and Dib Relationship) so if you don't like ZaDR, I'm telling you now that you can leave. As well, this book is a work of fiction-within-fiction, meaning that it is NOT canon to the show. It takes place after the events of Mopiness of Doom (an unaired episode, which you can watch on youtube in the form of either an animation project or an official script reading, neither of which are mine.) and doesn't fully follow the canonicity of future (unaired) episodes. If you haven't seen Mopiness of Doom, some elements of the story may not make sense.

**F I N I S H E D** Dib has finally decided to look back over the years of fighting Zim, and now he wants to have a purpose so he starts doing real science, meanwhile Zim was informed about his whole mission to invade Earth was all a joke, and that the Tallests just wanted to get rid of him. Read to find out what happens, what emotions both Zim and Dib feel for each other....
