Crushes were hard, especially when it was your childhood friend you'd bullied for years. Bakugo should've known this. He didn't. He didn't, not truly. He knew to an extent, but it never hit him. Not until Midoriya began dating Todoroki and the false hope he'd built came crashing down around him. It hurt, and it hurt a lot. A bonus chapter to A Meme A Day and The Days of Summer! You guys have been asking for it and I decided I needed it too, so here's a oneshot about Kirishima and Bakugou's life after the events of AMAD & TDOS. Kirishima's a simple art student who's had his eye on the attractive blonde who frequents the same Starbucks he studies at for a while, though he's too chicken to do anything about his little crush until he accidentally runs into him. Literally. /Twice./ (This description is awful and I apologize; as soon as I come up with a better one I'll be changing it.) Title is from the song Sober Up by AJR.

Bakugou dragged his eyes over the broad expanse of Kirishima's bare skin. There were so many scars, his body a canvas of his duty. Bakugou hated that he didn't know how each scar had been earned. He knew his own body likely looked the same to Kirishima; familiar, yet entirely new. The way Kirishima gently traced a raised line over Bakugou's side made him think he might have had the same thought. This is the extended version of my piece for the Poprocks Zine.
