A collection of Chicago PD one shots mostly Linstead starting on season 3 and going from there . This One Shots are inspired the episodes and focus mostly Erin and Jay relationship. Some of the parts are related to the show but not to an episode specifically.

This story begins almost immediately after the events at the end of 'Taken'. During a particularly difficult case, a member of Intelligence is in for the shock of a lifetime when someone from the past resurfaces in the most unexpected way. Even worse, it's someone who they'd hoped was gone for good. The summer of 1997 is truly one to remember for little ten year old Kim Burgess. This was the summer that she met Leslie Shay and Adam Ruzek. Leslie was the tough girl that no one messed with. Adam was the punk who thought picking on people was making him look cool. And Kim? She was the book nerd that no one cared to associate themselves with. That was until she became friends with Leslie when they found out they would be bunk mates. That summer was full of fun, laughs, games and, Adam being a jerk. Thirteen years later, Adam and Kim reunite when they are both employed with the Chicago Police Department. While meanwhile, Shay is on the Fire Department. Will Adam break his mean streak? What happens when the only witness to a vicious murder is a six year old boy? Just how far will the Intelligence Unit go to find answers, and what will happen to their witness? I know..I know..already have a few stories going but they'll be wrapped up soon and this is kicking around in my head..

It had been almost a decade since Jay had first noticed the drastic and sudden change of attitude coming at him from his niece Olivia, and still to this present day Jay is convinced she doesn't like him, which didn't make sense because for the first three years of Olivia's life she would often choose her uncle Jay over her own parents. Jay just misses being able to share a room with her, to talk to her, and he would do anything to fix what had gone wrong all those years ago - if only he knew what had happened in the first place. So Jay finally says that he's had enough and takes the matters into his hands, on a quest to gain back the strong relationship he and his niece once had.
