27-year-old Nick lives in London with his dog Nellie. His life is quiet, orderly and calm. Quite boring, actually. Music has never been very important to him. Of course he listens to it. But it has no important meaning. At least until he meets Charlie. Charlie is a passionate drummer. Together with his friends Sahar, Aleena and Jay, he has a band called "Queer Intentions". Between loud rehearsals and quiet moments, a connection grows that doesn't need a word. But the closer they get, the more Nick has to ask himself what happens when you suddenly fall out of rythm, and perhaps really listen for the first time. ~All the rights for the character go to Alice Oseman who created them.
