Lauve Heartfillia thought he was just a normal guy. But after reading a "Boys' Love" novel about a pathetic, obsessed villain who has the exact same name as him, his world flips upside down. Suddenly, he remembers everything. That wasn't just a story-it was his real past life. He remembers the cold treatment from his husband, the pain of losing his baby, and the moment he jumped off a bridge to end it all. He spent a week crying and trying to deal with these memories, thankful that he was finally free from that miserable life. But then, a car accident happens on that same bridge. When Lauve opens his eyes, he isn't in a hospital. He is back in the past, lying in the bed of the man who hated him: Quinno Saadvera. It's the exact night his nightmare started. The night Quinno came home drunk and they made love for the first time-the night Lauve's baby was conceived. For other people, going back in time is a second chance. But for Lauve, it feels like a cruel punishment. He already died once; why does he have to live through the heartbreak all over again? Looking at the man sleeping beside him, Lauve feels a mix of fear and pure disgust. He remembers the divorce papers, the blood, and the cold words. This time, he won't wait for Quinno to kick him out. This time, Lauve decided he will not play the obsessed wife anymore. He's going to take his life back, even if he has to break every page of the story to do it. This story is mine

[BxB] Aiden Rowe never asked for hockey. He doesn't like the cold, the crowds or the jocks. He'd much rather spend his time watching birds. But when he gets stuck covering the Port Howe Puffins for the school paper, his senior year suddenly revolves around freezing rinks, team dinners, deadlines and a sport he doesn't really understand. Somewhere between the chaos though, he finds someone who actually sees him and maybe hockey and Port Howe aren't the worst things after all. A soft, quirky and occasionally unhinged story about finding warmth (and love) in the unlikeliest of places. Content warning: lots of bird nerding Note: This is very much a queer romance with mature themes. Cover by @surrenderedstories

Pale, inhumanly fast, unparalleled reflexes and even better senses, Vampires were well known in the supernatural worlds as they took their place amongst the Apex predators. Though most of them were sophisticated creatures, identified by whom and what they fed on, there were some rather unique individuals considered as a rarity. Blood bound them all but some vampires longed for a forbidden pleasure, a dark desire and thirst of the blood of the rarest creature known to their kin. The blood of a Deprived. Creating a Deprived was forbidden, the punishment for such an offence was a painful and drawn out death. To create a Deprived, a vampire needed to reject its mate, knowing that the rejection would alter and change the bodies of their Beloved and doom them to the life of a bloodslave. Yet somehow, that is exactly what happened to Jesse.

Bai adored the spotlight. Night after night of awed gasps and amazed cheers as he flew through the air with his acrobatics troupe and their exceedingly well practiced routine. On stage, he was a ghost, a phantom for the hero to defeat. With his flowing white hair, the shrill cry of his flute, and the fluttering of his ornate costume aided by his own wind magic, he made quite the spectacle. Off stage, life had been unchanged for as long as he could remember. With poor vision that left him unfit for many kinds of labor, he'd been sold to the traveling circus at a young age by his poor family. Everything for his use was always in the same spot, everything always the same bright colors. Life off stage, outside of practice, consisted of such exciting tasks as using his wind magic to keep the flies out of the mess tent, and helping the never ending quantities of laundry to dry. Indentured to the show, raised by the stage, he'd never known anything else. He'd never considered anything else. But one fateful night when a wealthy foreign noble has all the other performers anxious to perform their best, Bai learns he's still able to be bought and sold. Whether he wants it or not, heir to the throne of Gelsan, Prince Kamau, is going to thrust Bai onto an entirely different stage... This story can also be found on Royal Road 👋

Book one of three in the Skates on Ice trilogy. EMERSON CALDER: One fall. And that one fall almost ended my entire figure skating career. To make matters worse, I could almost taste my first Olympic win... before Onyx Steele, my skating partner, made one mistake during our routine that sent me slamming against the ice. I never blamed him, but my best friend blames himself. We almost made it. Until we didn't. It's been three years, and last year, I decided to take the ice back by becoming my university's hockey mascot. Hidden identity, no one knew it was me, but then? Then I meet Ashton Knox-the university's star hockey player, and we began talking. What was supposed to be one year of being the Wolves mascot turned into two. Because I can't part from the fond friendship I formed with him. He's a distraction from my goals, but I can't stop. He believes in me. But he has no idea who I am underneath this mask. I didn't want to be in a spotlight that wasn't mine. Then, Ashton gets injured on the ice, during a game, and the moment I tear off that mascot head and race over to him, I am thrust right into that same spotlight that isn't mine. Maybe I have far more feelings for the dopey hockey player than I initially realized.

Knox has spent years perfecting the art of not giving a damn. He has spent his whole life keeping people at arm's length, working late shifts, smoking through the exhaustion, and surviving each day with the numb detachment of someone who learned too young that caring only leads to pain. The art club he joins for extra credit is supposed to be just another chore. Instead, he founds a new obsession and four artist that, turns out, aren't as bad as he thought. Knox doesn't want redemption. He doesn't believe in healing arcs or clean endings. But as the weight of his past presses closer, and the present demands choices he can no longer postpone, he's forced to confront a question he has never allowed himself to ask: What happens when running is no longer enough?
