The Dream Team are planning to meet up in Florida, although Sapnap can't make it until a week after the planned date, forcing Dream and George be alone for the week. As the week passes, tension rises. George still believes that Dream only sees him as a friend, making him fearful to get too close and reveal his secret. Then, Dream meets a girl and they begin to talk... but not about what George would've ever expected. When I thought of the title, I didn't know at the time that there was a fanfic already named Dear Dream. The story was originally going to be named Dear George, but it didn't fit well with the plot, so I named it Dear Dream, and you'll see why (if you still wanted to read this), but uh, there's one on ao3 and it's not this one! :) sorry for the confusion I wish I had the creativity and mind to think of another title :(.
