Abigail Rosemary Rogers (née Sellers) had never known love. That is, until the very day she met the renowned best friend of her older brother, Steven Grant "Steve" Rogers aka Captain America. From the first day that Bucky is rescued by none other than Steve from the Hydra base, Abigail is completely smitten by the young Sergeant James Buchanan Barnes. Over the next few years of the Second World War, Abigail proclaims her love for Bucky. Every single day until his "death", she calls him "My Sweet Sergeant" as a term of endearment. Heartbroken by her dear Bucky's passing, she was given a small miracle in honor of his love for her. She gives birth to a beautiful baby girl whom she names Katherine. Shortly after Bucky's death, she also loses Steve and the grief overwhelms her. She does everything in her power to go searching for him, and instead, both she and her daughter also go under the ice and wake up just short of 70 years, after Steve.
