Tommy, who had been in and out of the foster system since he was 6, was told to get ready for another family meeting. To say he wasn't too fond of that was an understatement. He knew the routine, get adopted, get abused, get put back into the orphanage, repeat. But when this family of three is kind to him, what's gonna happen? How will he react? And how will he fuck this one up? So just to put out there, Tubbo is the neighbor across the street- not part of the family. Tommy and Tubbo are ghosts, but I changed the fundamentals of it, they aren't dead, they have some ghostly powers and rules, and they can switch back and forth, living to ghost. Tommy put the phone back on the desk to start configuring another sentence. "I want to talk to Wilbur. You can't explain anything," Tubbo argued and pulled it to his side of the desk. "But I want the phone. Give it back." "No, I'll explain." "But I want to explain!" Tommy lunged for Tubbo. Tubbo jerked away, but Tommy had a grip of the phone, making the skirmish a game of tug of war. "You idiots," muttered Wilbur, watching the phone fly back and forth across the desk while spectating from his bed. Tommy wasn't quick to give up, but after holding Tubbo's menacing glare, Tommy gave up and let go. "Fine. I want a turn afterwards." He went to the kitchen, undoubtedly looking for something that he could mess with.
