As seen by the title, this is a Kiliel fanfic story. Kili and Tauriel go on a journey to find each other after the war, aided by Legolas and Bilbo.

After the battle of the five army's, Tauriel aids Bard in finding the remaining rings of power. Meanwhile, everyone belives Kíli is dead, including himself. And yet dead people don't usually continue to think.

A prequel to Love In Starlight After Thranduil's wife, Silvilia, dies in a great battle, he and his son are left alone with only each other. A few years later, they rescue an abandoned elfling hidden in the forest. This child will change Legolas's life forever. His best friend from the moment he saw her, and perhaps, later, something more?

A fanfic of Tauriel's childhood, how she grew up, the mystery behind her parents, her relationship with Legolas, and a more detailed background for the character than was ever written by Peter Jackson. Tauriel is training to become Captain of the Guard, her one opportunity to be anything more than the daughter of a murderer. Because at the moment, that's all that she is. Her father, Tarion, murdered 16 elves before he was caught attempting to assassinate the King, and beheaded. One of his victims was his own wife, Tauriel's mother, leaving her an orphan, viewed by most as a murderer, despite the fact that she has never killed anyone. Areth has always been different. As daughter of Kili and Tauriel, she has had to learn the hard way that being half elf/dwarf is not a desirable thing in the eyes of many. When Tauriel and Legolas finally realize that they share the same feeling towards one another, Legolas learns that he is to be betrothed to a princess. Will Legolas follow his duty to marry her, or will he follow his heart? Adding to his worries, Tauriel vanishes the same night the orcs attack Mirkwood. What will happen to her? Will Legolas make the right decision to save Tauriel, or will he decide not to?

Their kingdom was taken from there and sent out with nowhere to go. With new enemies and life threatening obstacles in their way, will Legolas and Tauriel stay strong and strive to protect one another in love, or will they grow distant and cold? ~Sequel to Brighter Than the Stars~
