She remembered her scent. It seemed to verify her aura. Her scent was cherry Coke and cigarettes. The latter one was passed onto her, especially after she had handed her her first cigarette only three months ago. Three months was all it took for her to develop that bad habit, but it wasn't the first nor the only one she developed in that period of time. Now she laid on the roof where she had smoked her first cigarette three months ago, and she glanced over at the full can of cherry Coke sitting on the concrete next to her, almost as if it were mocking her. A dull ache formed in her heart, a hollow, resounding ache that penetrated her deepest core. The sudden burning sensation in her fingers made her realize that the cigarette was burned to its very end, and maybe so was she. -♤-♤-♤-♤-♤-♤-♤-♤-♤-♤- August is attending Cornell University as a creative writing major, and while at a college party her friends dragged her to much to her dismay, she stumbles upon a gang in an alleyway and sees something she shouldn't have. With her life now in danger, she has to deal with the consequences of that night-which includes the leader of the Blue Porcelain gang, Willow, a tall and brooding woman whose green eyes would put the girl in more danger than being caught in a spiderweb of New York gangs ever could. She's hated her ever since Adrienne pushed her down the stairs in the second grade, ratted her out for cheating on a history test in the fourth, and especially when she stole the deserving title of volleyball captain from her. Adrienne Andrews absolutely hated June Parker. She always thought she was a self-entitled blonde that always got what she wanted. Plus, she's been out to get Adrienne ever since she accidentally pushed her off the stairs in the second grade. Not only is she bleeding on the inside, she's bleeding on the outside as well. Irma Sveta, a child stuck in a matured 18 year old body; a young woman of Russian and American ethnicity. She's optimistic and jaunty, but doesn't have any real friends. Inside that body sits a mind that remains oblivious to the outside world, confused, mentally strained, and overwhelmed. A heart that has been broken by people that are supposed to be her family so many times she has the feeling that it's the way she's suppose to be treated. Outside of that body remains scars of her abuse from her step-dad, her red hair, and unworldly outstanding features that bullies envy. After her dad died in the Vietnam war, her mother started giving herself up. That's where her step-dad came into play. He was aggressive, demanding, and everything contrary to nice. Although she hasn't seen her family after leaving to college, she still remains somewhat whole. Yet how can something so broken, be so pure? Anais Clair, a 21 year old assassin warrior. She was trained by the best, and has no fear or feelings whatsoever. Or so we'd think. She's direct and never bites her tongue. She's grown up training to be the best and fought in the Vietnam war as an undercover assassin. Although when it comes to the outside world she's clueless and knows not the ways of the social world, she excels and is a sacred warrior when it comes to the spy world. She doesn't like being told what to do or how to do it. She yearns to have the blood of her enemies on her hands and dripping down her samurai sword. One day she goes out to the supermarket to gather food, playing "normal" she tries her best to fit in, but it doesn't go so well. Irma somehow manages to help this young woman. She even decides to take her in. Irma is in it for a friend, but she doesn't know that her roommate is an assassin yearning to do many dirty things to her, things that Irma have never done, things that are normal for the assassin.

After a particularly terrible experience with her adoptive father and a few drinks, Rebecca Harrison finds her much-needed escape from reality in her soon-to-be biology teacher. When the two meet again at the beginning of the school year, neither know what to make of the situation. But their conflict with each other is no match for the conflict Rebecca faces with her adoptive father, and the two soon find themselves developing a relationship that tests both of their willingness to let others in. For entirely different reasons, they find themselves pushing each other away. Until they realize that their reasons aren't so different at all. This story is girlxgirl, teacherxstudent, and it deals with topics such as abuse, alcoholism, and suicide. It's my best work but it can be depressing at times & may be triggering to some. [Editing on-going, Sequel - TBD]

"Why are you watching me?" There was a grogginess in her tone that I found extremely alluring. I shouldn't be finding it alluring, I should be maintaining my professional position. "It's funny watching you try and stay awake," my eyes glanced over at her before returning to the road. I took an exit that led to my apartment. "Where are you taking me?" She sat up in the leather seat and watched as we came to a stop light. I hesitated, not even sure with myself if I really wanted to bring my seventeen year old student into my apartment. "I, Uh, figured I'd just let you crash at my apartment, considering all that's happened tonight." Her eyebrows furrowed together, "Uh, are you sure that's a good idea?"
