In Manhattan Newsies, we'll look into that and more, as we dive into the lives of the newsies exploring early adulthood. (Includes all the characters).

The year is 2005, the month is September, and the newsboys are poor. Poor David Jacobs joins them, only to be chucked right into the drama when the price of the papes is raised. Meanwhile there's all sorts of drama within the group of newsies, and so is there at the newspaper The Sun. There's a lot happening in 2005's Lower Manhattan...

Ain't it a fine life! Carrying the platter through it all! A mighty fine life, carrying the platter tough and tall! When the time strikes, we does what we wishes! Maybe cook some fishes! Hafta wash the dishes! What a fine life! Carrying the platter home-free all! In other words, this is an AU in which the modern newsies work at a restaurant. Includes all the characters, but focuses mostly on Smalls, Sniper, Finch and Tommy Boy.

No one take this too seriously. Ever. Do not think the Pringles are being serious putting themselves in a Newsies fanfic (do not think we're ever serious actually). This whole thing is an inside joke, where we go to 1899 to hang out with the newsies, and later go to 2021 with them to confuse them about the modern world. Enjoy.
