"I just don't understand, Chat. I thought...all this time...," she clenched her fists at her sides and stared up at him, "What changed?" Chat Noir stepped closer, pinning her against the railing of her balcony. The moonlight highlighted the dark ridges of his mask and his green eyes shone through the dark leather, as equally enticing and mesmerizing as they'd been that night they danced on the Eiffel Tower. "I'm a cat, Mari." he whispered. He wrapped his arms around her waist and the heat from his body made her shiver in the cold. She pressed her palms against his chest and his warm breath ruffled her fringe. Chat offered her a small smile, her heart hammering in her chest. "And sometimes..." he dipped his head down to hers. "We cats tend to stray." ~~~ While out one night in the park, Chat Noir finds Marinette and tries to escort her home safely. But she's injured protecting him from an akuma and he feels responsible for her. Intent on making it up to her, Chat Noir visits her regularly to make sure she's doing well. But it doesn't take long before their meetings become more than just casual check-ups. Bad things happen when superheroes fall for civilians, but even with the threat of Hawk Moth looming around, Chat can't seem to stay away. Will the risks be worth it in the end? Because this cat's curious, And his bad luck might just start catching up to him... Minor Adrienette and LadyNoir. Based off the events of season one only and set two years in the future. When I walked out, I couldn't hold the excitement of the bread I got. About to devour some now, I almost trip as I heard a noise behind me. I turn and find no one...nervous now, my appetite went away and I start to rush a little faster. ...Till I heard another noise, but louder this time. I stopped in my tracks as someone jumped in front of me, the lamp post not hitting them, I only gasped in surprise and got goosebumps. "Didn't mean to scare you..."
