Unhappy to be wed and torn away from the only home she has ever known, Lady Cerena Baratheon is summoned from Storm's End to King's Landing, where she is to become the wife of Prince Baelor Targaryen-the Prince of Dragonstone, Hand of the King, and heir to the Iron Throne. At only nineteen, Cerena has little interest in marriage and even less in becoming the second wife of a widower nearly a decade her senior. Worse still, Baelor already has two sons, Valarr and Matarys, both nearly her own age. The thought of suddenly becoming a stepmother to boys who could hardly be called children leaves Cerena deeply uncomfortable with the match. Cerena would much rather spend her days dancing at feasts, whispering with ladies of the court, indulging in harmless gossip, and enjoying the freedom afforded to a young noblewoman of Storm's End. She has no desire to trade that freedom for the burdens of a prince's wife. But marriage to Baelor demands far more than a pretty gown and a royal title. As the wife of the heir, Cerena is expected to fulfill her duties, produce heirs, maintain alliances, and conduct herself with the dignity expected of a future queen. Yet Cerena makes little effort to hide her displeasure, resisting every expectation placed upon her and refusing to become the obedient wife everyone expects her to be. Baelor, meanwhile, finds himself faced with a wife who is nothing like the quiet, dutiful woman he imagined would stand beside him. A storm has come to Dragonstone-and she has no intention of bending the knee.

Three siblings. A single destiny, inextricably bound to the Iron Throne. In the Riverlands, the name Frey has always been synonymous with treachery, calculation, and unbridled ambition. Yet, within the walls of the Twins, three siblings choose not to be mere pawns on Walder Frey's chessboard. Kermit Frey: The eldest of the three, torn between duty to his House and a sense of honor that threatens to cost him his life in a world where honor is in short supply. Sabitha and Cleonice Frey: Twins in appearance, yet opposites, like the sun and the moon. One driven by instinct and steel; the other lethal with words and secrets. When Westeros is ravaged by the War of the Five Kings, the three siblings find themselves thrust into the heart of the conflict. Their lives are upended by the arrival of Robb Stark and the intrigues of King's Landing, leading all the way to the dark shadow of the Red Wedding. Kermit, Sabitha, and Cleonice must learn to play the game of thrones; for when war comes knocking at their door, the Freys can no longer simply content themselves with collecting the toll.

Prince Baelor Breakspear survived a blow that should have killed him and woke into a life that did not feel like his own. Dragons still lived, Vermithor answered to him without hesitation, and the court behaved as if nothing was wrong. At the center stood Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, his wife of more than ten years, a woman he knew only from history books who watched him with the care of someone afraid to lose him twice. They blamed the injury for his confusion, but Baelor began to notice fractures no one spoke of. His sons clung to Rhaenyra as their mother, Maekar avoided certain truths, and Rhaenyra seemed to know more than she should about his memories and the realm itself. The more time he spent with her, the more he felt that his survival had not been a miracle but something deliberately preserved. As familiarity grew into affection, Baelor wondered if he was simply recovering from a wound or trying to understand a world that did not quite fit him. If this had always been his life, why did it feel borrowed? And why did Rhaenyra love him with a certainty he could not yet remember earning?

Lyanna Bolton never expected to be chosen. When Prince Baelor Targaryen travels North seeking a Stark bride, it is not the carefully poised lady of Winterfell who captures his attention-but her blunt, unpolished lady-in-waiting. Thrust into a southern court that watches her with quiet suspicion, Lyanna must navigate politics, prejudice, and the weight of a name that was never meant to sit beside a crown. As years pass and a family is built from an unlikely match, Lyanna finds herself torn between the woman she was raised to be and the one she is becoming-caught between North and South, doubt and devotion, love and the fear of losing it. Because being chosen is one thing. Believing you deserve it is another.

Princess Viserra Targaryen had grown in the shadow of the Faith of the Seven, raised to be pious by her mother, she spent more time in the Royal Sept than any other part of the Red Keep. Breathing its teachings down her throat more than the air in King's Landing, until she suffocated. But she did it with no complaints, never any fight in her. A perfect daughter, a perfect princess, the opposite of her namesake, her mother would make sure of that. But the blood of the dragon still runs in her veins like the rest of her family, tempered down it may be, it was there. And dragons were creatures of greed, according to common folks tales, greedy, hoarding, beasts who would rather burn nations down than let a single treasure that catches their fancy slip by. So when her interest locks onto her uncle, Prince Baelor, the Hand of the King, the Heir to the Iron Throne. Everything she was never supposed to want. She is torn between her devotion to her mothers faith, its teachings, everything she's ever known. And her desire to have him all to herself. ⤷ ゛Baelor Targaryen x OC ˎˊ˗ [AKOTSK]
