This is the first part (month) of the book Asperger Diaries: Jamie's New School - the full version of the book is available from all the usual outlets. ************************** Jamie starts at Armthorpe senior school in three weeks time. He's a little nervous already. Armthorpe is much bigger than his junior school, and is a bus ride away. His mother, Angela, hopes Jamie will make a few new friends once he starts at senior school. He has never had many friends. She can see he is nervous, but is sure he will be okay once he has settled in. Afterall he is very clever, and always came top of the class at his junior school. He is very different to his older sister. Lesley is loud and outgoing while Jamie is quiet and shy. Once Jamie has settled into his new school, Angela plans to look for a part time job. She hasn't worked for almost sixteen years, and is excited at the prospect of earning a little extra money. Lesley is worried that her boring, younger brother might embarrass her once he joins her at senior school. No one realises that Jamie has Asperger's Syndrome. That is all about to change.
