BEING A TEEN SERIES: BIMBO (BOOK 4) That line, that fucked up imaginary line. The people we like never like us back. They either like someone and that someone else ends up liking you or that usual crazy line. One sided love is something nobody wishes for, everybody wants the people we love to us back and however for everybody, that's not the case. For Adewole-Adedeji Abimbola, hers was the complete opposite. She had liked Paul for a long time;since their preschool days and the latter barely acknowledged her. He hated her being around him and being around him was something Bimbo enjoyed. Until Paul asked her best friend to be his girlfriend and despite the both knowing her feelings, they both went ahead to date each other and so Bimbo lost three things. She lost her dream guy, she lost her best friend and she also lost her heart. She was too heartbroken and became cold and distant to everyone. Her character took on a new phase as she shut everyone out. She focused on her books and topped the class leaving both her best friend and Paul running after her. With her new cold and indifferent attitude, she barely noticed a particular someone who had eyes on her since forever. But she never noticed him. Meet Adeleke Jeremiah, Boston International College, social prefect. Tall, lean and he had an amazing athletic build. He played football too and the whole female population had eyes on him but Jeremiah enjoyed being low profile. What on earth that attracted him to his one year junior;he couldn't decipher it at all. He even went ahead to stalk her on IG and someone he was on her contact list yet they never spoke. When Jeremiah is assigned to her class as her Prep Captain, sparks finally fly. Sometimes, who we want is not the best for us.

BEING A TEEN SERIES: CLOCKING SIXTEEN (BOOK 2) Every teenage girl looked forward to clocking sixteen. Not that there was anything special about the day you clocked sixteen but the fact that you were sixteen already. To some girls, its the time to have a boyfriend, the age to get disvirgined, the age to set loose. To other girls, its the age to start living independently, the age to start living your own life. Some many perks came with clocking sixteen. As for me, Olumayede Rachel, I wasn't left out in this expectation. Born with a silver spoon and extra loving parents, my familial life is perfect. Everything seems to be fine except that academically, I am a failure, in terms of friends, I don't have any except the clique I'm always trying to fit in. In terms of the relationships, the guy I like doesn't even know I exist. In summary, my teenage life was a mess. I tried desperately every day to fit in but the harder I tried, the more I felt I didn't belong there. 2 weeks to my sixteenth birthday, my dad gave me an assigment. To me, it was rather a funny assigment, he told me to discover myself and he would get me an iPhone. If I had an iPhone I would finally be able to fit in with my friends. I was excited and eager to finish the assigment until I realized that the so called assigment wasn't really an assigment, it was about me, it was me discovering myself. Like every girl who clocked sixteen experienced a dramatic change in their life, I wasn't left out as I also experienced a dramatic change too. THIS IS A JOURNEY OF SELF DISCOVERY. MORE OF LEARNING TO LOVE YOURSELF. ALWAYS REMEMBER TO LOVE YOURSELF. ©COMING SOON AUGUST 2020

High school is a very critical part of every teenagers life and thus highly important. In high school, you make memories, mistakes, fall in love and fall out with friends. For Catherine Adams it's not different, getting a scholarship into the biggest school in the state, making friends and falling in love with an handsome dude, her life was certainly not a fairytale but she scaled through. Nigerian high schools are different from others and thus Catherine and George are about to take you on a journey of how they passed through hurdles. This a prequel, the sequel is out now on my profile. Chioma 💓
