I love the idea of Destiel, that a human and an angel can move beyond the physical boundaries of the human body, and find something deeper in each other, during a time when they are both ships tossing in a chaotic sea of emotions, and at a time when their lives are absolutely falling apart. They cling to one another, each becoming the other's safe harbor. It's transcends sex, moves beyond the fact that they are both in male form. It is love in its purest form, and it is on a deep and spiritual level. The idea that someone as broken as Dean Winchester can find someone that can see past the darkest parts of himself to the light within and still love him I think is the most beautiful thing on earth. That is what I was trying to write here. I hope those that read it like it. Vote for it if you like it. I will keep adding to it until it is complete, so keep checking back in.

After rescuing his vessel's daughter Castiel sets out on a life of his own feeling like a failure now that he is human again. He makes his way to Chicago, discards his phone, his last tie to the Winchesters, and takes on a job as a janitor in a school, but no matter how far he runs away from Kansas, he can't escape his feelings for Dean. He thinks Dean doesn't want him after their last altercation and it's not until he finds an email from Dean in his inbox that he is reminded of everything he left behind, and the only place that was ever really home to him. With some help from Charlie, Dean is able to track Cas down, but will he have the guts to finally open up about how he really feels? Read and find out. Comment if you like it. The concept of pet names goes completely over Cas' head after hearing Dean call him by a term of endearment. After consulting Sam to gain an understanding of why people call one another terms of endearment based on sweet pastries. Sam thinks he's slick with the explanation he gives, deciding he's given the best advice possible, except Cas takes it quite literally. Hilarity ensues as Cas tries to express his affection for Dean with his own special "Castiel" brand of pet names.

Dean has a problem with social media, but the bigger problem he has is what Sam and Cas are doing when they're on those sites...

Dean has loved Castiel for so long now, and he knows Castiel loves him too. So why can't he just say those 3 little words? Dean and Cas are in a relationship that came after years of sexual tension and longing. The problem? Cas told Dean he loves him, but Dean...he just can't say it back. Or can he?

After a divine intervention Dean is left mark free. When the number of cases starts to decrease he finds himself with time on his hands, and that means time to think, something he hates to do for too long. It's with a slow realization that his feelings for Castiel are more than simple friendship, but he doesn't know how to tell him as much, or how his brother Sam will take the news. So he swallows down these feelings and tries to get on with his life after Castiel leaves them to seek out his own existence. Then someone comes into his life that changes everything, but will it change how he feels about Cas? And will Cas ever realize how he feels in return about Dean?

As a cut off angel, it's hard to blend in with the normal crowd. However, Castiel is doing quite fine, outliving everyone else as a simple cashier at the local Gas 'n Sip. Sure, he may never understand humans, but it's a privilege to watch them go about their simple lives, while never progressing in his own. He just has no desire to; seeing that he hasn't found anyone worth falling - literally and metaphorically - for. Until. --- Just a fic inspired by a fanvideo. I don't own SPN, of course. People think that all Dean Winchester cares about is fame and the money. But, that's just a rumor that stayed stuck to him.
