The two end up in a passionate, steamy relationship for the rest of freshman year, even though every homophobe in the school hates the idea of two men being in an intensely physical relationship like theirs. However, his life turns upside down when he meets the friendly yet socially inept Edward Nygma. What he doesn't know is that Ed has dark secrets of his own. Even though Oswald and Ed started off on the wrong foot, the two eventually become best of friends and soon Oswald realizes he's fallen in love with Ed. TW* After being shot by Ed, due to his betrayal, Oswald began to go struggle with a deep depression. Oswald decided to leave Gotham in hopes to get over all the pain and destruction. He is accompanied by Ivy Pepper, who does everything she can to look after Oswald. Oswald and Ivy return to Gotham 6 years later. When Edward finds out, he sets out to finish what he started. Unfortunately, it wasn't as Edward thought it would be. Now he wants to do anything he can to fix Oswald, other than kill him. Edward feels guilty after realizing how cruel kicking Oswarld out after his return from arkam was. He decides to make up for his mistake by piecing Oswald back into the man he looked up to, the man he loved. Taking care of Oswald and being that close to him day to day led to him easily falling for the bird like man. Can he fix Oswald after what Strange did to him?

What if Ed and Oswald had more than that one scene back in season one? This is basically their season one storylines (slightly off canon) but the difference is this being very much Nygmobblepot.
