Why the heck was it left in his hands? Yeah no, I don't know either. But he "agrees" and goes off to find out what the heck the "darkness coming from the bedrock" or whatever is. He doesn't even want friends, why did he agree to a journey that heavily entails meeting others and becoming friends enough with them you can win back your world with them? Ah, f*ck it! Here we go again. Tldr/aka: Tommy is trusted with important task. What a horrible decision that was.... (Holy sh*t, this is like Avatar the Last Airbender!
