Been a year since pitch's defeat, of being a guardian of fun, of new believers, a year of still feeling...incomplete. Jack would still think of pitch, about his offer in Antarctica, about how he looking so hurt when he wasn't believed in no more, how he screamed and struggled from the nightmares dragging him into his now sealed lair. jack felt guilty about what happened to pitch he even had nightmares about it but that soon disappeared ever so slightly as the weeks passed by, until tonight. (at Jack's pond) jack arrived at his pond wanting to make new designs on it but as soon as he got there he wasn't expecting a unconscious severely injured Boogeyman in the center of it instead. jack just floated there in mid air watching unable to move to much in shock and fear then he saw pitch move. jack flinched as pitch shakily got on his feet but soon fell to his hands and knees blood pouring out of his wounds. Jack's fear spiked as he soon realized that the ponds ice was cracking under pitch, jack hasn't been able to refreeze his pond in a good week and that since it was April and the warmer weather was kicking in it's no surprise that the ponds ice would be all but thin by now. jack got back to his senses and flew as fast as he could to pitch screaming out to him."Pitch!" but it was to late as soon as pitch looked over to jack the ice gave way and pitch went into the watery depths. jack finally got to the hole where pitch went through but as soon as he tried to reach in and save pitch but the water and surrounding thawing ice immediately froze solid. jack screamed for pitch and tried to break the ice but all he did was make it worse. jack looked over to Manny and pleaded to help him break the ice to save pitch, or to get help from the guardians. (pitch pov) I sensed fear, it was so familiar, is that jack? I looked over last thing I knew I was in the water, it was cold, dark, I felt numb inside, this feeling it felt so...familiar. like I've been through it before but when?

Pitch has always enjoyed watching others in fear or despair. One night he escapes and feels a great amount of fear and despair coming from a girl. He follows the sensation, but gets the biggest surprise he never saw coming. Can he really trust what the girl with the red scarf is true? (READER x Pitch Black) This story takes place centuries after part one's main time line, about twenty years or so before part five, and about a year after the movie.

North threw the large door opened and walked inside the large factory, Tooth, Sandy and Bunny following in right after. North laughed loudly, the threat finally being over. Pitch was beaten and the children of the world believed once again. "Let us have a feast, to celebrate our victory!" The other guardians agreed, for once feeling that they deserved to have a little time off. "Come on in everyone," North shouted, "Don't let the cold in." Too late would North realize his mistake in his words. Just as he uttered his words Jack was about to step inside, but now stopped. His blue eyes were wide, reflecting just how much he had been hurt. 'Don't let the cold in', he was Jack Frost, he was the cold itself. 'Don't let the cold in' was just other words for, 'Don't let Jack Frost in'

This story is my first for these two or first story on here hope you enjoy it. It will have a bit of the movie in it I don't own any of the art work or these characters or the movie. Both pitch and jack will struggle with how they feel and how to work for a better future even if one of them has to be drastic at times. Both will embark on fighting their own inner battles to keep sane and willing to keep fighting for not just themselves but for each other. Sandy never got hit by pitch so he's still around and this story first takes place where Jack goes to the incident with Bunny's eggs are all destroyed but in this Sandy is wanting to go find Jack and he doesn't think it's his fault. if u want to know more read this if u DON'T SHIP JACKXPITCH DON'T READ. After 10 years, Pitch Black returns and there is just one thing on his mind. Jack Frost. He will stop at nothing to get the boy on his side. No matter the cost.
