When Ninjago was created, there was an ideal in mind. To create a place of peace and prosperity for all who live there. So to create peace, the first spinjitzu master decided to give a fragment of his powers to certain individuals who would help Ninjago safe and happy. These individuals were known as the elemental masters of Ninjago. Following many years, more generations of elemental master's were born and when there were no more signs of evil left. the elemental master's of that generation decided to settle down and have families. These powers were then lost to time and some even chose to believe the elemental master's were only folk-tales to entertain children. But when a new darkness rises, the elemental masters are needed once again.

Jay and Cole are best friends, but soon the stress of school, family, and being a ninja starts to get to them. Not to mention the crushes that started to grow.
