This is the second book to Better times. Better times is written by agent_two_marieee in Marie's point of view of Callie's failed suicied attempt. Marie reads Callie's past journals written by (agent_one_callie) to help her cousin to survive. In this book Marie has left for Kita productions. Is this the best idea after all that has happened? Two years ago Callie and Marie did their last splatfest. Although Marie was the winner, the two cousins did not hold a grudge. Despite that, they began to drift apart as they both began developing solo careers. One day Marie was able to get a three day vacation and left for Calamari County. Callie on the other hand could not come because of an important meeting. The two planned to meet on the second day of Marie's vacation. However, danger was lurking in Octo Canyon.
