Her best friend is Draco Malfoy who she does have a friends with benefits as well, until a certain Gryffindor changes that. Draco and y/n are not siblings just best friends who grew up together. This is an alternate universe there is no Voldemort or anything trying to kill them. It's a different story line. Everyone's parents didn't die from Voldemort.
