In an AU LGBTQ+ accepting Camelot, anybody can love anybody. King Arthur throws a Ball to try and find a romantic companion among his kingdom to make his Queen or King Consort. His manservant Merlin is overrun with chores, but finds a way to attend, though he's too embarrassed to go as himself. "You still remember that day..." Arthur fell into a kind of melancholy, Merlin was completely different now. "I do remember everything. Every moment spent with you." He had no bright childish eyes anymore. His eyes were wiser, mature. He was a grown man now.

Merlin slowly falls in love with Arthur, and can't take the constant pain of seeing him with Gwen every day. What will happen when Merlin quits his job as servant to the king due to feelings getting in the way?

When Merlin disappeared, it took a chunk out of everyone's heart, especially Arthur's. The knights and him checked all of the five kingdoms, but he was nowhere to be found. Everyone just gave up and believed that he died. Because of this, Arthur was a mess and shut himself in his room. If you want to find out the rest read this story. Lancelot didn't die. Morgana didn't turn evil. Mordred is still a knight. Lancelot and Gwen are together instead.

Arthur had always thought that he was lucky like he had some sort of guardian angel. He never thought that the guardian angel watching over him was his clumsy oaf of a servant, Merlin. That is the daily life of 12th grade Merlin. At least it was until the senior year Paris trip when he was paired up with his sworn enemy/bully Author (rich/popular/mean boy) pendragon.
