Denki has had a hard life. Being abnormally smart might seem like a good thing, but in reality it made everyone around him bitter and full of hatred. His father especially hated his smarts and his quirk, often times beating him for things he cannot control. One fateful day, he runs into a kid named Katsuki Bakugo, who's family ended up taking him in and made him see a new perspective on life. Mentions of abuse and depression!!!!! Cancer- Inko, his mother, was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. Sure, he was there on a photography scholarship, but he had hospital bills to pay- as well as money for essential needs. So he takes odd jobs here and there to get by, but it was never enough. That is until he gets an opportunity to clean bathrooms and assist a boy around his age for a crap ton of money. Hitoshi Shinso, he's your typical playboy in great need of an attitude check. His father, Shota Aizawa is a very well respected business man in Japan- but his son's behavior is beginning to affect him in ways you can only imagine. So when a desperate Izuku makes his way into their lives, Aizawa takes a chance to hopefully change his son's snotty ways. Excerpt--------- "Hm? What'd you say?" When he found out he was quirkless, everything turned black and white for him. On the way back from the doctors office the Midoriya family got into a car reck. Both parents died and before the ambulances or paramedics came, Izuku ran. From that moment forward he trained himself physically and emotionally, he could take a bullet wound like a hit, he barely felt anything. By the time he was 14 he was the world's most well known vigilante but no one knew what he looked like, he was that good. So, uh... life's been kinda upside down lately. One day I'm at home with Mom, and the next, I'm stuck living with my dad-yeah, the Yamada Hizashi, better known as Present Mic. Didn't exactly plan for that, but here we are. Still trying to wrap my head around it. Can't say it's all bad, though. Turns out, co-hosting a radio show with your pro hero dad at ungodly hours of the night is a pretty decent distraction from... well, everything else. Honestly, it's kinda fun. The way we go off-script half the time, roasting villains and throwing shade at the news-it's chaotic, but in a good way. Keeps me from thinking too much. Dad's-well, he's loud, dramatic, and somehow a total dork and a hero at the same time. But he's also... warm. Genuine. The kind of guy who makes you feel seen, even when you're trying real hard to blend into the wallpaper. It's weird, having someone actually there. Asking if I've eaten, if I'm sleeping okay, if I wanna vent or just scream into a mic at 2 AM. I guess what I'm saying is, things are messy and confusing, and I have no idea what's gonna happen next. But for now, I've got a half-decent mattress, a mic, and a dad who grins way too wide and tells me he's proud every chance he gets. Could be worse. A/N: This is a mha fanstory hope you enjoy!
