Katara has been different since her mother's death. She buries herself in books and work, trying to distract from the pain. And Zuko's life is far from perfect. His mother is gone, his father is abusive, and his sister hates him. People seem to avoid him just because of the scar on his face. So when he gets dared to make Katara his girlfriend, saying if he did so he would get paid, he doesn't expect anything to come out of it. Katara hates Zuko for what he did in the past. she tells herself that she will never trust him again, they reason why is because she trusted him in Ba Sing Se and he turned around and stabbed her in the back. she is confused why does everyone trust him now. Zuko want Katara to forgive him, but he knows that she hates him. he has saved her life twice now one from falling rocks and the other saving her from falling off junes pet nalya. she decides to forgive him because she has to let the past die. they take a trip together with the whole group. they go to embers island. what will happen?

Katara lives in District Twelve, constantly struggling to support her family after the death of her mother. She dreads the Reaping each year just like everyone else, knowing if she is chosen she would be sent to the Capitol to fight in the Hunger Games, a televised competition where twenty-four teenagers fought to the death. But when the day finally comes, it isn't her who is chosen. It's her brother, Sokka. So Katara does the unthinkable. She volunteers to take his place. And suddenly she is thrust into the glamorous world of the Capitol along with her district partner, Zuko, headed to the arena. Making alliances, fighting enemies, and staying alive is hard enough. Katara spend a great amounts of time hating Zuko after his betrayal under the crystal catacombs of Ba Sing Se. She had trusted him and he had betrayed her. When he joins Aang and starts teaching him fire bending her emotions get complicated and she is soon torn between her hatred towards the fire nation and her strange attraction to the Prince of said nation. Zuko infuriates her, annoys her , he is a constant reminder of Aang almost dying yet she finds herself trusting him again and slowly loving him. ~*~*~*~ The story is currently under Edit because it has been two years since I completed it and my English and writing ability have improved since then. I just need to fix it and make it perfect!

This is a little different from the show, not just the events but some of the characters positions. Katara hasn't met Zuko yet, but she has met Haru. Haru's father has become some important person. The Earth Kingdom will make an alliance with the Southern water tribe if Katara marries Haru. Zuko gets wind of this and decides to capture Katara the bride-to-be. How will this work out for Zuko? Katara? Aang? Sokka? Haru? The Southern Water Tribe? Read to find out.

Enemies to friends to... more😏- After joining the gang, Zuko has to earn the forgiveness of Katara, and in doing so they begin to grow closer. Both fire and water elements can be driven by passion & it a appears they may have more in common than they think. This will differ from the shows plot and timeline but I will do my best to stay true to the characters. TW/ Smut later on but I will put a disclaimer or warning before chapters containing anything NSFW.

After finally earning Katara's trust, Zuko and Katara have grown closer then ever. But with Sozin's Comet only a few weeks away, Zuko and Katara are willing to do anything to pretect eachother. With feelings developing and love triangle Aang, Zuko, Katara, Team Avatar and the others will fight to the death to save the world.
