The enemies of Division 52 are growing. Uncertainty is rife in both the upper class sectors and the lower. The Emperor of Merridian has fallen and those with hungry eyes are eager to fill the space left behind. Meanwhile Makayla is brutally trained in the far North of Naxos. But each time Scorpion tries to break a piece of her mind and body, it takes its own toll on her. Makayla is determined to return to Merridian as an equal to Alex but the crime lord has growing doubts and building pressure to return and reclaim the throne of the Underworld. Proximo continues to grasp to maintain order in Division 52. His vengeful sister circles with Hades waiting to take the war to their door with weapons none had imagined possible. A betrayal he never conceived possible. One thing is clear. Scorpion needs to return. The question remains whether that will be with the Emperor's daughter or a trained killer of Division 52. If Scorpion can bare turning the woman she loves into something darker-for all their sakes.
